Want to know about Dr. Joe? Talk to his patients. While they all have their own way of saying it, there are consistent themes of “wonderful chair-side manner,” totally devoted to the quality of his work” and “equally committed to the comfort and satisfaction of his patients, at each and every visit.” After more than 30 years of practice, Dr. Joe is as enthusiastic about his patients and his practice as the day he started.

A native of Delaware County, Dr. Joe graduated from Bonner High School in 1968. He received his BS in Biology from LaSalle University and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1976. He completed a general practice residency at the Philadelphia General Hospital.

Dr. Joe began practicing in Springfield, and eventually purchased the practice when the senior dentist retired. The practice grew steadily over the years, based on Dr. Joe’s reputation for high quality dental care and focus on patient comfort and satisfaction. In 2000, the practice moved to its present location in Broomall, and became Williamsburg Dental (click here for more information on the practice in general).

Dr. Joe is a respected authority on aesthetic dentistry and conducts seminars throughout the region on the latest cosmetic and restorative techniques. He has completed training at the renowned Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) and is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Chester/Delaware County Dental Association.

In the Delaware county area, Dr. Joe is known for his tireless efforts to give back to the community. He contributes countless hours of pro-bono training seminars on the topic of success in life and business for non-profit organizations such as Rotary Clubs, Chambers of Commerce, universities, high schools, youth groups and other local dental practices. Dr. Capista is also very active with his church and is a mentor to the vice president of the Papal Foundation. His generosity and community spirit were recognized and honored with the Small Business Person of the Year Award from the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce in 2008. Learn More...
